Designed for new and prospective firearm owners, this course provides a safe, welcoming environment to learn the fundamentals of responsible firearm ownership. Whether you’ve never handled a firearm or want to strengthen your skills, this class builds a solid foundation before moving on to defensive or concealed carry training.

• The four universal firearm safety rules

• Handgun operation and terminology

• Loading and unloading procedures

• Proper grip, stance, sight alignment, and trigger control

• Safe storage and transportation

• Basic firearm maintenance

• Range etiquette and expectations

Requirements

• No previous firearm experience required.

• Students must follow all safety instructions provided by the instructor.

• Closed-toe shoes

• Your handgun (if you own one)

• Approximately 100 rounds of factory ammunition

• Water and snacks (recommended)

Firearm Rental

Handgun rentals are available for $35, which includes the firearm and all ammunition required for the course.
